TALENTED FRIENDS OF CRAFTY AND GREEN GUEST DESIGNER DAY.
Week # 16
Hello Friends! Welcome to another talent filled Guest Designer Thursday here at Crafty & Green!! I'm really enjoying the diversity of projects from my guest Designers. Just so you know, the Guest Designers will follow the Theme of the month and have the option to use the sketch or create something completely unique!

This Month the theme for my guest designers is Child's Play I'm So Excited to Introduce a Very Talented Friend and My Guest Designer this week:

This Week's Sketch:

I had these ice cream bucket pails that I was saving for a reason and well when I was praying something came to my mind when God spoke to my heart about forgiveness...we had an interesting talk and well before I get carried away let me get to the bucket which by the way I call my Forgiveness Pail...I decided to trace the circle of one of my papers that came from the Scrapbook & Collage Papers book (European Collection) from my friend Donna gave me a while back which I love!! :) Thanks Donna ...again...hehe...I used the lid of the bucket to trace for my circle on the printed paper and then I cut some pretty cardstock that I had on hand...olive green and this peachy sort of color (looks like a very light orange too! ) ...then cut them in 4 strips of each to criss cross like the sketch and then I cut the triangle from another printed paper which is actually on the back of the circle print I cut out and then used a cardstock to thicken up the triangle to make it sturdy...then I had some left over t-shirt that I used to make some flowers the other day and thought one of the flowers would be perfect for the circle shape and then I used one of my favorite Verve stamp for the sentiment..."Be strong and take heart all you who hope in the Lord."  Psalm 31:24  I used my SU Terra Cotta color to stamp it and inked it up around the edges after I cut out the square shape and cut out another square of the Olive green to back that up...and voila!  :) Hope you like my take on the sketch and I hope you were challenged to re-purpose and have your take on the sketch challenge!! :)

As I have said this is my forgiveness basket ...I put in pieces of paper people who have hurt me or something I need to let go of and write it down and throw it in there to get rid of the baggage...and NOT take it up again...we can't hold onto the hurts and the junk that goes along with it...it is not good for our well-being and hurt just makes us heart sick as well as it can manifest itself physically....it also affects our other decisions and actions we make in our lives...I pray that you find a way to deal with the hurts and the past and just throw it away in your "bucket" and be free of what holds you down...we were not meant to carry a mantle ...God wants us to be full of joy that surpasses all understanding and have good health and be an example to others about forgiving ...I am a Pastor but I am still human and we all make mistakes ...I know I have inflict pain and I regret those times...but I learn like everyone else...and we have to move on and not keep harping on it or ourselves.  I pray that you are able to let God work on your heart and heal you inside and out!! He can if you let him and his grace is wonderful! I praise Him for all he does for me and he will do the same for you and you will be free...trust me that letting go is freeing..He does know what is best! :) Amen...

Have a blessed day you all and thanks again for listening and stopping by...
