Thankful For You

Happy Sunday!!

Another Challenge over at Simply Betty Stamps FB Page!
Once again, I ADORE her images and this was a fun challenge!

Here were the Challenge Rules:
1. Pleats, add pleats to the bustle and skirt areas
2. Color Combo: Traditional Fall colors; Mauve, Maroon, Mustard, Pine Green, Browns, and Oranges. Any of those colors is what I consider to be Traditional Fall colors.
3. You must use the sentiment that comes with the image and Frame it! Put a fancy label frame behind it, or make a frame for it, make it a shaker frame anything goes on the frame part just use the sentiment with a frame.

The Image is Called THANKFUL FOR YOU BETTY
I colored her up with my copics, this was the first time I have ever attempted pleats,  I tried!! I cut out the shaped card with my new Cameo Silhouette, still have lots to learn!! I used Scraps of course for the whole card!

Please note: Normally I do NOT know the names of all the papers or the other materials I use b/c they are either something I had from years ago, or it's something that has been given to me.

ANYTHING GOES

I was excited to get to create with a Rick St. Dennis image this week! This darling image is called Pudge.  I decided to go a little more simple on the card this week. I just started to use my Silhouette Cameo, and was trying to figure out how to cut things. So, here's what I came up with. I colored Pudge up with Copic Markers and highlighted her with a white gel pen. I used scraps, like normal, to design my card.

Please note: Normally I do NOT know the names of all the papers or the other materials I use b/c they are either something I had from years ago, or it's something that has been given to me.

Feeling Merry Yet?

Happy Wednesday!

Gosh, do I LOVE all the fun challenges they do over at SBS!!
Her images are just stunning!! Check out this image called Very Merry Betty! She was so much fun to color!  This was a color challenge to use Red, Green, Black & White.

I colored Very Merry Betty up with my Copic Markers; and then this card gave me a great excuse to bust out my Christmas Scraps for the first time in way over a year!! YAY!

Simple Inside of the Card:

Simply Betty Stamps Day of the Dead Blog Hop!

Feliz Dia De Los Muertos!
(Happy Day of the Dead)
Welcome to the Simply Betty Stamps Day of the Dead Blog Hop!
So happy you have joined us for this special event, be ready for some awesome creations!

The Day of the Dead (El Dia de Los Muertos) is a holiday focusing on gatherings of friends and family to pray and remember those who have died. It's celebrated on November 1st and 2nd in connection with All Saints' and All Souls' Days. November 1st honors deceased children and infants while November 2nd honors deceased adults.

It is believed that on these days, it's easier for the dead to communicate with the living. Thus we get Halloween (All Hallows' Eve) which is the eve before the thinning of the veil between the living and the dead.

You should have come here by way of Corinne's Blog! If you just happened by please start back at the beginning, you won't want to miss a thing!

How Awesome is this SBS image called Lenore Forevermore? I just LOVE her and had so much fun coloring her up with my copics & making her face into Dia De Los Muertos! I used scraps to make this card and found some awesome blue lace & ribbon that matched perfectly!

Please note: Normally I do NOT know the names of all the papers or the other materials I use b/c they are either something I had from years ago, or it's something that has been given to me.

Now it's Time to Hop on over and see what the amazingly talented IRENE has for your viewing pleasure!
